The Scallys already owned the Royal Hotel in Killarney and they set about restoring and refurbishing Hayfield to bring it up to the 5 star hotel standard which it is today.

The attention to detail in all areas is very apparent and the level of individual attention by staff is reminiscient of times long gone.
