New Years Eve Gala Ball – a Great Gatsby inspired gala ball at Cork International Hotel at 7pm.
New Year’s Eve Gala Ball at Hayfield Manor including 7 course gourmet meal, champagne and jazz.
New Years Eve Gala Masquerade Ball at the Metropole Hotel with four course New Year’s Eve banquet and Live party band “Blue Steel” to ring in the new year in style and late-night DJ.
New Year’s Eve in Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff, West Cork Downton Abbey-inspired and begins with a Cocktail Jazz reception followed by a delicious meal accompanied by live jazz and swing.
Charity Gala New Year’s Eve Ball at The Westlodge Hotel in Bantry. Pre dinner entertainment and a prosecco reception, followed by a gala banquet served in the Seafield Suite. With a fireworks display, charity auction and raffle, live music by Katsquire, followed by a DJ.

New Year’s Day in Cork
For those people partying on New Year’s Eve, many will be sleeping it off in the morning, but for others New Year’s Day is a Day to get active, go out and start anew.
Here are some outdoor activities in Cork on New Year’s Day:
Visit Fota Wildlife Park (open 10am): A great day out for all the family.
A visit to Ballincollig Regional Park with its Walking trails, woodlands, sports pitches, childrens playground, outdoor gym on 134 acres.
Visit Bamboo Park in Glengarriff with its exotic plants including bamboos and tree ferns and beautiful walks on the edge of Bantry Bay.
The Beara Way Cycling Route winds along country roads and stays close to the coastline passing through Glengarriff, Adrigole, Castletownbere, Bere Island, Dursey, Allihies and many more towns and villages. You can start and finish anywhere along the route.

The opportunities for New Year’s Day activities in Cork are numerous. You can simply head to your local park or a nearby beach and take a long walk to clear the cobwebs left by the celebrations of the Christmas Season.
